In Alexandria Collins’ horror short In Sickness And In Health, we were tasked with bridging the gap between practical makeup and supernatural terror. Our primary focus was the augmentation of the demon’s visage and effects, adding an extra layer of digital detail to the face and executing flesh-burning effects that integrated seamlessly with the practical onset work.
Beyond the creature work, we enhanced the film’s atmosphere with digitally simulated blood puddles and splatters, ensuring the visceral impact remained consistent across every shot. We also handled various screen replacements and invisible cleanups, allowing the production to focus on the narrative while we ensured the technical details supported the descent into darkness.
